A dream that started with a little assistant.
Hi, I'm Tekah. I've always loved photography — I even dreamed of one day opening my own studio. From the time my son Izaiah was about five years old, he was my little assistant. He knew how to take photos, anticipate my needs during a shoot, and keep me on task. A cute kid with great ideas and creativity.
But life had other plans. I was a single mom at the time, and opening a business felt way too risky. So the dream got tucked away for "the right time."
A while back, I was at my cousin's "all decades" birthday party and there it was — a 360 photo booth and a selfie station, lights flashing, guests lined up, everyone having the time of their lives. I turned to my husband and to Izaiah (then 16) and said the thing that changed everything: I can absolutely do what they're doing.
"I grew up in a Jamaican household. We LOVE to party. Celebrating people is in my blood."
Izaiah and I designed our logo together, got the paperwork sorted, and I ordered both machines — the 360 and the selfie station — and went all in. When that 360 arrived, it was heavy. Way heavier than I expected. I'll admit it: I nearly panicked and thought about returning it. Thankfully I have a strong son who looked me in the eye and said, "Mom, we've got this."
Around the same time, my employer laid me off. And just like that, the decision made itself. I'd always taught Izaiah: if nobody opens a door for you, open one yourself. Nothing in life is guaranteed except God. I never did open that studio — instead, we bring our studio to incredible events all across Central Florida. And I'm a proud mom of a co-business owner.
What sets us apart? We don't compete with other vendors — we compete with ourselves. Every event has to be better than the last one. That's our standard, and it's why our clients keep talking about us long after the party ends.
